There are ample advantages to early learning. We value their safety as you do and strive to make our environment as sheltered as possible.

We have a minimum class-to-caregiver ratio at our child care center so that each child is given the maximum amount of attention and care they need.

Our Staff

Little Leaps Academy staff is composed of enthusiastic individuals who possess genuine compassion in caring for children. All staff members are experienced in giving care and have undergone training in CPR and First Aid. We have thoroughly examined their background and had their certificates checked for validation. They are in consistent training and they are certified in the use of an epipen, nebulizer, fire-extinguisher, and many more for the protection of the children and staff. This is deemed imperative in letting you know that your child stays in safe and secure hands.

Veronica Prowant

Meet Veronica Prowant, the dynamic director of Little Leaps Academy! With over a decade of experience in childcare since 2013 and 8 years leading the team, she finds joy in the little things—like hearing about kids’ weekend adventures or watching them grow. Veronica lives in Byron with her lively household, which includes her 4 kids (2 sons, 2 daughters) and a mini zoo of pets: 4 rescued dogs, 2 toads, a leopard gecko, 3 ball pythons, and a cheeky turquoise green conure. When she's not busy with her crew, she loves getting lost in a good book or tackling brainy math puzzles. A fan of 90s and early 2000s pop/rock/hip-hop, Veronica’s musical taste is as eclectic as her love for "The Labyrinth." And if you want to win her over? Bring her a plate of nachos loaded with all the best toppings!

My daughter started here about 2 months ago after having a less than stellar experience at her former daycare. Within a week she was excited to go to school again and cheered as we pulled up. She loves to bring me her art from the day. We love it at Little Leaps.

Little Leap Academy has been an incredible place for my son! The staff are truly wonderful, and Veronica is especially amazing—she genuinely cares about the kids, which shows in everything she does, from organizing a fantastic fall festival to decorating with such thoughtfulness. He has made so much progress since he started here; he was hesitant to speak, and now he’s chatting all the time! The staff have been incredibly patient with him, helping him find his voice. Every time I pick him up, he’s smiling and happy, and it gives me peace of mind knowing he’s so well cared for.

The team also keeps improving the space for the kids, like the new playground they just added. It’s clear that little by little, they’re making a difference not only in my son’s life but in all the kids’ lives. Thank you, Little Leap Academy, for everything you do for our children!

I’ve absolutely loved the Little Leaps family since my son started daycare! There was no wait list and all the teachers are so sweet! Ms Veronica is very knowledgeable and every time I call to check on my son she can immediately tell me how he is doing :)

I can honestly say that this is the best company I've had the pleasure of working for. They truly care about their staff, their families, and most importantly, the children. My kids are grown but should grandkids be in my future, I will definitely encourage them to consider Little Leaps or one of our sister schools!

If I could give Little Leaps Academy more than five stars I would! My 3 children have been going here since August and I love it more than the kids do! Veronica and Kimberly are very professional and very hands on with their kids and the staff is AMAZING from the teachers to the kitchen staff and even the school bus driver! :))
